MEET COACH JAIRO

Coach Jairo Escobar is a highly esteemed Elite Boxing Trainer from San Francisco, California. He focuses on technical fundamentals, intelligent sparring, and elite-level striking. Coach Jairo trained under Oscar Rivadeneyra, who fought Michael Spinks for the light heavyweight title in 1983. Today, Coach Jairo trains top-ranked USA Boxing juniors, amateurs, and professionals — including Bellator MMA’s Keri Melendez. He also is part of the El Nino camp with UFC Strike Force Veteran Gilbert Melendez and The Skrap Pack boxing team. He emphasizes the power of shadowboxing as a tool for all fighters: "You only get back what you put into it."
